My first twenty minutes with the new Goldrush update on Team Fortress 2 have gone a little like this:
*Boots up Team Fortress 2*
Oooh, very nice new loadout screen. Ooh, lots of new achievements. And a pretty decent new map as well!
*Joins online server*
Medic overload. Oh bugger.
There’s more bonesaws than your average series of CSI…
My experience with the new stuff has gone like this:
I can’t help but feel this is rather bad timing on Valve’s part…
Either very bad timing or a carefully plotted attempt to distract from the GTA launch….
Ok yea bad timing!
Unfortunately, Uni deadlines and the small matter of not owning the house’s 360, copy of the game or awesome TV has rather prevented me playing any GTA whatsoever…
I was up at 3am when the update came through. I could only connect to the few east coast server that were updated, it was pure chaos.
